Increasing your calorie intake during 'happy hour'?
You may find that spending happy hour consuming wine and other usually alcoholic beverages is increasing your daily calorie count. Over time, these calories add up and before you know it, you could weigh several kilograms more than you did a few months ago.
Off course, if you are increasing your workout time and intensity you may just be able to negate this affect but unfortunately not everyone is able to do this diligently.
Make happy hour a healthy one
If you and some of your work colleagues find yourselves putting on weight as time passes, then consider making your happy hour a much healthier one instead. Spend the time going for a walk or run instead of eating or drinking for an entire hour. Alternatively go dancing and if you must have something to eat, try to keep it healthy and limit the high-calorie beverages.
If you do this regularly, you are bound to reach your weight-loss targets sooner - just stay focused, eat healthy and keep up with the physical activity!
