Look, I realise that pretty much anyone can make a fruit salad, so it's not really a 'recipe', but …

... a lot of people who are focussing on weight loss think that fruit is full of ‘sugar’ and will make them fat… so they cut out fruit from their diet.

Here's the thing...

If you're eating any processed foods, any baked goods, any crackers, anything with added sweeteners, any dairy produce, meat with ANY amount of fat, or any junk/snack 'foods', then fruit is NOT your biggest problem.

Let's get some balance here.

Fruit is a NATURAL food. It's filled with vitamins and minerals. It’s full of fibre, and hydrating amounts of water, and it makes you feel amazing! It has some sugar in it too, but the good kind.

So make a fruit salad for breakfast or lunch, or even as a snack. Sprinkle some cinnamon or ginger on top, or some vanilla powder. DON’T add loads of sweetened yogurt. If you want to add yogurt, use Bulgarian yogurt and a little squeeze of honey (if you must).

Fruit salad is nutritious and nice to eat from a texture point of view. It'll also help curb your sweet-tooth issues.
