Eggs, in their various forms, are a great weight-loss food. They are relatively low in calories, contain no 'junk' calories or chemicals, and are a natural food-source. Plus they're really tasty!
Traditionally, an omelette is a folded egg parcel filled with some grated cheese, tomato, and maybe a slice of ham.
However, the best weight loss omelette can be so much tastier!
Try this to make omelettes into a much more substantial meal option, and help you get more veggies into your diet:
Chop and blanch some broccoli florets, fry some chopped onions, red and green peppers, baby marrows, spinach and mushrooms, and roast some cherry tomatoes.
Make a traditional three-egg omelette (eggs, a dash of milk, salt and pepper). Pour the egg mixture into a frying pan oiled with coconut oil. Cook the eggs to about 80%. Now sprinkle a little grated cheese, and fill the omelette with a generous mixture of the vegetables above.
Finish cooking and serve.
