So many of us start our morning workout after breakfast, but did you know that it may prove more beneficial to weight loss if it were done before breakfast?
Dr. Kathleen Hickey, a bariatric physician in private practice in Hillsborough, New Jersey suggests that the best time to do an aerobic workout, is before breakfast.
"This is when your insulin level should be its lowest, and therefore the energy for the workout has to come from fat. Whenever insulin levels are elevated, fat stores are protected and cannot be used for energy,â she says.
