Try having a meal before leaving the house. This will ensure that you have sufficient energy for the next few hours!
Pack a healthy snack
Take a few healthy snacks with you for variety. For example, you could carry some fruit, nuts or yoghurt (in a small cooler bag) with you, if travelling by car. Healthy sandwiches are also a great option if you are on a long journey.
Donât buy junk!
Carrying your own food prevents you from purchasing junk food and snacks, whether you travel by car or by plane so plan ahead, save money and prevent weight gain! If you MUST purchase something to eat, make sure it is healthy.
Carry exercise equipment
Donât forget to take your running shoes, swimming costume or even a skipping rope along with you. This will not only remind you to get physical whilst away but will also help you burn calories and help keep you trim.
