Runner's World suggests the following running/ walking routine, called 'Cat and Mouse', which can be done with two or three people.
1. To warm up, jog for five minutes.
2. Then get into a single file formation.
3. The leader increases the pace as she wishes, while those behind her attempt to stay as close to her as possible.
4. Do this for three to five minutes, then take a walk break for about one to two minutes.
5. Switch positions and repeat for as long as you desire.
