Are you getting weight loss advice from a good source?
When you need weight loss advice, who do you ask? Your friend, spouse, neighbour or someone at work? There are often times when we ask others for advice but do we consider how valuable and authentic the advice really is?For example, you may not find it as useful to listen to someone who has always been slim, talking about how they burn calories when they have never been overweight or obese. But you may find the advice of someone who has lost 20 kilograms whilst on a weight loss programme valuable, especially if you are following the same programme.Seek professional adviceIf you have any medical conditions then be sure to consult your doctor as he or she will be able to advise you, as to what intensity of exercise you would be able to perform. If you donât know where to start at gym, speak to a physical trainer who will be able to show you the ropes and also help you devise an exercise plan to suit your needs.
