Now that summer is on the way, some of us may find it easier to drink more water in order to stay hydrated.

Calories are used to heat the water

According to Men's Health, drinking approximately 3,79 liters of ice water a day may cause your body to expend about 123 calories of heat, in order to warm that water to body temperature.

Prepare in advance

Try filling up an empty bottle with water the night before, so that it is well chilled throughout the night and ready to be consumed the next day.

Carry a cooler

You could also carry a mini cooler bag with you, so that your water remains chilled when at work or out on errands.

So it seems that for weight loss, when it comes to hydration, the colder the water, the better!
