For many women, multitasking is an everyday habit. It happens at home and/or the office, and is practically second nature.
But, when you're multitasking five things at once, your mind isn't fully focused on any single task. You might even become stressed or frazzled in an attempt to get it all done.
This is when thoughts of food pop up. It's also when you're more likely to dig into your snack drawer or the cookie jar.
When you're in a tizzy with trying to multitask everything, emotional eating is usually just around the corner. Your body tends to crave sweet and comforting treats to help you 'manage' what you're doing.
So instead of running around trying to do everything at once, stop. Focus on one thing at a time. You'll be more likely to get better results and be a lot more productive. And you'll be less likely to think about food or give in to emotional eating.
