Cellulite is something a lot of women don't like talking about. Most of us would actually prefer to pretend that it doesn't exist.
It's annoying, it's unsightly, and it's something that just happens no matter how skinny you are.
And while beauty manufacturers are raking in the big bucks, there hasn't been any scientific proof that cellulite creams actually work.
According to the Mayo Clinic, eight out of every 10 women have some degree of cellulite. Fitness expert and TV personality, Jillian Michaels confessed on her website that she herself has this dimple effect. You may have noticed that she never wears hot pants in any of her workout DVDs.
She has two tips for women with cellulite:
Exercise. According to Jillian, losing weight and toning your body is the best way to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Accept that you have it. Just as Jillian has done, accept that it's part of your body, even if you get annoyed with it sometimes. Learn to be indifferent to it and stop the body bashing.
