The key to losing extra weight could be something as simple as enjoying your food in the way that Europeans do.
Europeans don't like to rush. They take their time eating. Italian business owners are known to close their doors between 12pm and 2pm every day for a leisurely family lunch.
Of course, here in South Africa, things don't exactly work like that! But, you can still follow their principal every time you eat.
From the time you start eating, it takes approximately 20 minutes for your brain to send out a signal that you're full.
So when you slow down and eat at a leisurely pace, this gives your body more than enough time to get that message. And when you're full, you eat less.
Practice sitting down and being conscious about what you're putting onto your fork. Don't eat just for the sake of eating. Really take pleasure in the food you're putting into your mouth and enjoy the experience.
