Some people believe that weighing yourself daily is the key to effective weight loss. But, stepping on the scale every day has its drawbacks.
For one, it's a recipe for frustration and it's not very reliable. Your weight fluctuates during the day, and you could be weighing other things as well, like water retention.
If you want to lose quite a bit of weight, or keep a healthy weight over the long-term, weigh yourself once a week. Step on the scale at about the same time and on the same day each week.
That way the results will be more motivating and less confusing, than seeing those daily see-saw weigh-in numbers.
