Just because you're eating low-fat foods instead of full-fat foods, doesn't mean you should go overboard.
There's a difference between 'low-fat' and 'low-calorie', and it's in no way a license to take second and third helpings.
Low-fat foods are a great way to cut out a few extra calories, without sacrificing much flavour and texture. Just be careful about eating too much. If you pile up your plate with low-fat cake, for example, you could end up eating more calories than if you had a smaller piece of regular cake.
Make sure to check the nutritional lable on any low-fat products you buy. That way you can see exactly how much fat, sugar, and calorie-energy you're getting.
