But, according to Harvard researchers, watching just two hours of TV a day can lead to an increase in health problems. Not to mention the negative effects of sitting for too long.

Make TV time healthier by giving these tips a try...
Treat it like a reward. For example, treat yourself to an hour of TV after getting in a quick workout when you get home.
Create dinner table memories. Get creative with table decorations or settings and make dinnertime a special mini occasion every night. This is a perfect time for quality bonding â laughing and catching up, as well as mindful eating.
Stand and watch TV. This is a great way to squeeze in some mini exercises, get warm, and stretch tense muscles.
