Here is how you can use a sand-bell to help you burn extra calories.
Place a sand-bell between your shoulder blades and assume a push up position. Elevate your feet on a stair step or even a very low table.
Then bend your elbows, so that your body lowers and your nose almost touches the ground. A the same time, try keeping your ankles, hips and shoulders in a straight line.
Finally push back up.
Aim to do about 10 to 15 reps, but always stop when you start to feel uncomfortable.
If you are unsure whether you are performing this exercise, or any exercise correctly, consult a physical trainer instead of straining your body. This will also prevent possible injury.
