Los Angeles based celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza, says that doing the following exercise may help you boost your metabolism for up to 24 hours afterwards.
So what is this exercise? Running of course!
Running involves us using some of our major muscles and parts of the body such as our legs, buttocks and core. These areas are actually the biggest calorie and fat burning muscles in our body.
Try to get the most out of each running movement. You can do this by:
swinging your arms whilst keeping them close to your body
trying not to lean forward
keeping your feet low near the ground
alternating fast and slow intervals
Engaging in this activity for half an hour is estimated to burn approximately 374 calories. Remember to wear comfortable running shoes and clothes!
