Burn calories doing intense exercises

It is often difficult for some people to engage in a full workout daily. If this applies to you, then here are some ideas on how to perform small but intense exercises to awaken your metabolism and help you to burn some calories.

Jumping jacks!

Jumping jacks are quick and easy to perform and the best part is that they can be done anywhere, whether at home, at the office, at the park, etc. Jumping jacks increase your heart rate very quickly so be sure to do a warm-up beforehand to prevent any strain.

Sprint

Go for a walk and gradually increase your pace until you are doing a fast, brisk walk. Then break into a sprint for a few seconds! Slow down and stop if you experience any discomfort.

Use the stairs!

Do you have a staircase at home or at the office? If you do, then you have no excuse! Take a minute to run up and down the stairs. You will burn some calories whilst toning your legs at the same time!
