Exercise is especially important when it comes to promoting lean muscle growth - what is commonly referred to as getting 'toned' - and keeping your body fit and healthy to tackle our stressful, fast-paced lives.

There is a part of the gym that almost every woman avoids...it's the section where the big guys hang out, grunting, sweating, dropping weights on the floor and slapping each other on the back - the WEIGHTS section.
It's intimidating, but it's also the place to go if you want to do your body and weight loss the biggest favour you can.

You see, running on the treadmill, doing yoga classes and standing chatting at the water cooler are all fine, but if PROGRESS is your thing, then the best and fastest results you can achieve will come from building muscle.
Why?
Because the more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns even when you're doing nothing. Also, being skinny with no muscle tone just makes you look malnourished. Being strong means you will be able to fend for yourself in tough situations (like carrying your own groceries) when you're older.
So get into the weights section at the gym!
