Well, it all depends on you and where you are for most of the day. This could either be at home, at work or out and about if your job requires you to be so. Here are some ideas on what you can do to get the calories burning.
At home, maximize your workout by cleaning the rooms yourself. Move furniture around, polish whatever needs to be polished and mop the floors. You could even clean out the garage or engage in some gardening!
When at work, opt to take the lift instead of the stairs and park as far away from the entrance as possible so that you would have to walk a greater distance to the door. You could also offer to carry boxes or files for someone when jetting off to meetings. Consider going for a walk during your lunch break instead of just lounging in your chair for an hour.
If you have a job that requires you to be out and about then give it your best! For example, if you are a delivery person, try picking up your pace by walking faster. Don’t forget to hydrate yourself adequately!
