One of the regular complaints I hear when it comes to why people don't exercise is 'exercise is boring'.
And I can relate.
You see, while certain types of people are perfectly happy to run on a treadmill for two hours, or lift weights in the gym, or ride a bicycle, others find these activities mind-numbingly boring.
That's OK!
So if you're bored, I have the answer for you. LEARN A NEW SKILL that is exercise related. Ever thought of combat sports? Surfing? Kayaking? Crossfit? Powerlifting? Rock climbing? Hiking? (There are lots more).
The above are all exercise-based activities that require some specific skill-set in order for you to be good at them, and if jogging bores you then I'm pretty sure the extra mental stimulation involved with these types of exercise would be just what the doctor ordered.
Try one that appeals to you. If it's not for you, try another. If nothing else your life will be richer for having had the chance to try.
