BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
It's 4,30am and that means it's time to wake up and hit the gym. You've been really busy the whole week and it was too hot to sleep well last night. Your mind starts racing ... You don't want to go to gym, but your training partner will be there waiting for you. What excuse can you come up with to justify sleeping in for an extra 90 minutes? Maybe if you said you're feeling sick ... What about saying you're still too sore from your last tough session? Maybe just pretend your alarm didn't wake you?
If you're like me, this is a typical thought process you will go through almost every morning before gym. It feels unbelievably difficult to drag yourself out of bed and do something challenging when the alternative is the comfort of a warm duvet.
But for most of us, early morning is really the only time we can set aside for exercise. We’re far too busy during the day at work, and then carting kids around after school and doing homework, cooking dinner, etc., to even think about afternoon or evening exercise.

(PS: If you can’t leave the kids alone at home, and have no way to get to the gym, buy some home exercise DVDs, or find some bodyweight exercises on YouTube that you can do.)

The problem with staying in bed is that you can't get FITTER, LEANER or STRONGER by avoiding exercise. It's one of those situations in life where you have to almost be on autopilot in the sense that you cannot allow your FEELINGS to get in the way of doing the actions required for progress and change.
So roll over, put those feet on the floor and stand up.
That's all it takes to get the process in motion. And in 90 minutes' time you'll be glad you did.
