Consider joining a weight-loss support group!
Weight-loss support groups can act as excellent motivators for people who are on a weight-loss programme but lack the support from others around them.
You may meet many other people who have the same or similar weight-loss goals to that of your own or who may share the same worries and concerns as you do. In addition you may be able to chat to people who have successfully lost weight, learn how they did it, what lifestyle changes they made and overall what kept them motivated to stay on the programme until they had achieved their goals.
Furthermore, you may be able to share some experiences and perhaps offer some advice to other people who may be a step or two behind you!
Visit your local library, community centre or supermarket and check the noticeboards for any notices of weight-loss support groups. Alternatively search online for weight-loss support groups – you will no doubt find many that may be of help to you!
