Finding a way to engage in exercise for a good 30 minutes can be a very difficult task for some people. What should you do? Do you go for a run, work out in the gym or exercise at home?
If you fall into this category, then stop right there and don’t stress a minute more! Simply start doing things that you enjoy – the more physical the activities the better!
For example, if you love to clean, then seize the moment and start cleaning out the top shelves of your cupboards. Carry a ladder from the garage (or borrow one from a neighbour ... the further you walk, the more calories you will burn!), climb up, stretch, wipe, polish, discard whatever items you don’t need and throw out the trash – all these activities will keep you on the move and increase your calorie burnout.
Similarly, you could engage in a sport or activity that you have always wanted to do, such as joining a dancing or yoga class.
Remember that exercise should not only be done when at home. Exercise can be done anywhere, even when on holiday. You could perhaps go canoeing, horse-riding, mountain biking or hiking, depending on the type of holiday you are on.
Make exercise fun and you will not find burning calories an effort at all!
