Many seem to get up pretty early, do some form of physical activity, some form of spiritual activity, have a nourishing meal and begin the work day with the most important task first. They also DO NOT RUSH - rushing is stressful, and stress leads to bad decisions.

The issue here is that starting the day with a good routine means you're more likely to stick to a disciplined way of eating for the rest of the day, and if you've exercised early it means you don't have to worry (and therefore stress) about squeezing it in later.
