Meals that are high in fat or sugar will be high in calories and this can make you pile on the weight if consumed regularly. Similarly, opt for meals that have been prepared using healthy cooking methods.
If you are uncertain, always ask questions before placing an order. If you know what the ingredients and nutrient content of foods are, the better choices you can make!
Restaurants often offer freebies when they introduce a new product to the market as this may draw more attention and possibly sales to the restaurant. The next time your attention is drawn to a meal that comes with a freebie (usually non-edible), ask yourself if the freebie will be useful to you in any way? Does it help support your weight-loss efforts or will you just toss it aside.
