Pills and powders for losing weight, getting bigger muscles, and improved athletic performance have come to the fore in recent times more so than ever before, as our obsession with ourselves has increased. Supplement companies have taken full advantage of this idea and are constantly promoting new and improved ways to lose fat, get toned muscles and all those other things, almost magically.
Why? Because popping a pill is SO MUCH EASIER than actually doing the hard yards of dieting and exercise to achieve our goals. Throwing money at our weight problems is almost comforting: “All I have to do is pay for these magic pills and they will MAKE ME thin. Ah, that's better, now where did I put that cake?”
There are a couple that I think can be helpful and HAVE BEEN PROVEN AS SUCH by unbiased science time and again. But what I am saying is "Watch out!".
The supplement industry is almost totally unregulated, and if you think ALL supplements contain the highest quality product at the lowest possible prices then you're a better person than me.
You must WORK to do that. Earn it. Diet well. Exercise regularly. Live a healthy life. [Tweet this] These things are relatively cheap, and they are guaranteed to work.
The pills? Maybe you should read what it says on the bottle next to the little * sign before you put all of your eggs in that basket.
