These are the seven things that I tell my clients to keep ‘sacred’. They are the non-negotiables, the things that will get them get to their goals, and living a healthier lifestyle in no time.

Here are seven keys to help you get started TODAY:

1. Start the day the old-fashioned way

Eating a big, warm breakfast of healthy (preferably) solid food is a great strategy for dieters because it fills you up and keeps you from feeling hungry and wanting to snack mid-morning. Try things like cooked oats (don’t get super-flavoured ones!) with sunflower seeds and raisins, or some unsweetened un-baked home-made muesli, or an egg or two on wholewheat toast.

It will be lunch time before you know it and you’ll eat a smaller lunch - like a salad, smoothie or meal replacement shake - because breakfast was so filling.
