They eat well, exercise regularly and stay disciplined and CLAIM TO LOVE LIVING THAT WAY. The secret is, this is one of the keys to actually being successful in your health-related endeavours. You have to find some amount of joy in the routine.

How?

Well, the first way is to design a lifestyle that is both healthy and appealing to YOU in some way.

Do you HATE running?

Try something else that you do enjoy for exercise.

Do you love cake?

Allow yourself one piece every two weeks. Make it the best cake you've ever had, in a great location, with wonderful company and your craving will be satisfied for a while.

Do you hate to eat vegetables?

You probably don't cook very well then. Learn to cook well, and to enjoy eating more raw veggies. You'll get immense joy from learning a new skill AND start to eat healthier.

Do you love spending time with people?

Do that often, just trade the 'mandatory' junk food for something healthier.

Hate going to the gym?

Exercise outside.

The bottom line is that those people who love their healthy lives are not crazy, they have just designed their lives to include elements of the joy that makes life worth living. You should do that too. If you do, weight loss and exercise gets enormously easier.
