There are seven steps to performing a body roll correctly:
For the first count of the movement, stay stationary with your legs together then slide your left arm on top of your right arm.
Now pull your arms back towards your shoulders and slide them down the side of your body towards the floor.
Lean your chest backwards and arch your back slightly as you move your hands.
Next, lean your body forwards as you end up with your hands at hip level. You can bend your left leg slightly at this stage.
Now lunge your left foot forwards and bend your right leg such that only the ball of your foot in on the floor. Note that your hands should be facing the floor (same level as your left knee).
Lift your left foot off the floor and flick your heel behind you. Then cross your left arm over your right arm. Now uncross your arms and circle them around at the side of your head.
Lastly, push your arms back towards the floor level and step your right foot forwards.
