We checked in with Keri Gans, R.D., author of The Small Change Diet, for her suggestions on the best in-season fruits and veggies to load up on if you're trying to lose weight. Fill your (farmer's market) basket with these babies, and you'll be beach body-ready in no time!
Strawberries
These red treats are high in vitamin C and fiber, meaning they'll keep you full and satisfied. They're also low-cal—just 49 calories per cup!
Apricots
Packed with tons of fiber (plus other nutrients like potassium, vitamin A, and vitamin C), apricots are like diet gold. Each one is only 17 calories (yup, you read that right!).

Artichokes
These are stereotypically a West Coast food, but they're actually available (and delicious) everywhere. And they're not only loaded with feel-full fiber, they also have a lot of protein, another ingredient that keeps you satiated for longer—and thus prevents overeating. Artichokes are also very low-cal—just 60 calories each!
Asparagus
These green veggies are amazing for weight loss. Each spear is only four calories, and they're a good source of fiber and other vitamins, too, like folate and vitamins K, B, C, and A.
