According to a new U.K. survey reported on in the Daily Telegraph, the average woman's diet number—16—is twice as high as her hook-up number.
The survey also found that the typical weight-loss regimen lasts for one month (though 27 percent of women cop to falling off the wagon after a week), resulting in five to seven lost pounds. And the top reasons women ditched their diets were wilted willpower and boredom.

The survey results point to one conclusion: The typical woman gains and loses weight several times throughout her life. This kind of yo-yo dieting may seem normal, but it's obviously not so effective—and it's definitely not healthy.
