Lose Weight By “Sneaking” Nourishment Into Meals

For you to lose weight successfully you must bridle your desire for food and have power over junk food or late night yearning for food. One of the best ways to carry out this goal is to add some nutrition into your weight loss diet. The challenge of course, is to control this procedure in such a way that you do not add more calories or not many more anyway to your meal. High nutrition helps build lean muscle mass and curtails your appetite, both of which are important for weight loss.

Here’s what I’ve been trying out. I know you’ve most likely heard many times before, that greens such as mustard greens, Kale, Bok choy, Swiss chard, etc are the top most nutrient rich vegetables.

A large amount of people, myself included by now know how nutritious these vegetables are but really never thought about adding them to a meal. Now, if you are of the salad eating clan you are getting some green leafy vegetables, however they do not even compare to the nutritional value of Bok Choy, Mustard greens, kale and Swiss chard.

The difficulty with the majority of these nutritious vegetables is the taste, which is why a technique to sneak them into a meal is of the essence.

You can most likely locate a ton of recipes out there, but if you like Italian tomato sauces and soups it will be successful.

I gather an adequate amount of bok choy, kale, mustard greens, and or swiss chard and throw them whole into my tomato sauce or my large batch of soup broth. I’ll also throw in some large wedges of onion and possibly a zucchini into the simmering pot also.

Let your vegetables simmer until they are all nice and soft. Remove the zucchini, onions and the greens, and transfer them to a blender. Blend them up smooth, then add them back into your soup or tomato sauce.

By themselves, kale, Bok Choy, and mustard greens may not be that appealing, but when you puree them and merge them into a sauce or soup, they are pretty good. You have now been successful in sneaking in nutrient dense food that you can really take pleasure in eating while you lose weight!

Another thing you want to keep in mind about pureeing the vegetables this way is the fact that vitamin absorption is actually increased Because your body has an easier time digesting the vegetables in this form, you will actually benefit more from the vitamins and minerals.

If you have children this is an imaginative mode to get nutrition into them. It’s sneaky but it works to get more greens into your kids meals without them even sensing you added them to the soup or sauce (as long as you did a good job with seasonings and recipe). It’s an enjoyable weight loss tactic if used frequently. Most parents grapple with feeding their children healthy meals, and this is an an ingenious way to do just that. It might be a little bit sneaky yet when you have to get more greens into the kids devoid of a fight, why not? Your children will never recognize there are any vegetables at all in your soups or sauces if you get the recipe and seasonings right This is one strategy that makes weight loss a bit easier.
