The app has recently come up with a new version called Pact and is available for free for Android and iOS users.
Nexercise - Touted as a fitness app for lazy people, Nexercise makes workouts fun by making it a competitive online game where you can cross levels and earn points. It’s available for Android and iOS users for free.
iPint on iOS and iBeer on Android: If your friends are gulping down beer at parties, you can also join them with this virtual beer. Sponsored by Carling, this app turns your phone into a hyper-realistic beer pint which tilts like real beer. Also, when you drink it, the glass empties itself and you can refill it as many times you want without getting drunk or having a hangover next morning. It’s available for free on Android and iOS.
Embarrassing Bodies My Health Checker: Before working on a healthier lifestyle, see what poor shape you’re in with this app. You could choose a test to measure your Body Mass Index, Body fat percentage or your basal metabolic rate. Also, it gives you an indication of your health risks along with advice on how to improve your health. It’s available for iOS users for free.
Zombies, Run!: Co-created with award-winning novelist Naomi Alderman, the phone app makes your morning jog a little more exciting. The story starts with you crash landing in the middle of a pack of zombies. As you listen to your playlists, a voice tells you the zombies are right behind you and it’s up to you to save the civilisation. Your phone’s GPS tracks your speed and if you’re not fast enough you’ll be eaten up by monsters. It is available for Rs 186 for Android users and Rs 180 for iOS users. Map My Run – Would you like to see the exact path you’ve covered while running? Map My Run allows you to do that and much more. You can also find routes created by other users, track the speed at which you’ve run and share your fitness accomplishments on social networks. Burn your fat with me! – Another very interesting app, Burn your fat with me! uses a pretty japanese anime character called Mayu Uehara to motivate you to work out. It might take many months to complete this game, but once you are done with it – you are left with a great body. It’s available for Rs 125 for Android users and $1.99 for iOS users.
