Who doesn’t wish to lose weight or drop down a dress size or two without having to go to the gym every day? And now, a new revolutionary treatment can help you do just that without having to do much except, piss out the extra fat!
Aqualyx, a new treatment to help rid body fat, has come out claiming to be an effective alternative to liposuction. The treatment involves injections that ‘break down cells that you then pass through urine’. A water solution is injected into problematic areas around the body like thighs, stomach, knees, chin, buttocks, stomach, back and even your neck, breaking down excess fat cells, allowing the body to absorb them into the bloodstream – and then pee them out, reports dailymail.co.uk. How it works
It contains plant polymers which binds with the cell walls of the fat tissue before rupturing and releasing the fat to be dissolved. The formula liquefies the fat cell which is then eliminated when you urinate, over a three-week period. Makers say the solution completely destroys the fat cells, so they can’t grow back. Describing its new treatment, Mills Medical Service say it ‘gives you the body you’ve always dreamed of without fearing that the fat will return’.
The treatment, which claims to be the only registered fat removal injection on the market, claims it has no downtime (other than slight bruising and swelling for 48 hours). ‘Aqualyx isn’t an injection for weight loss; it is used for contouring the body and slimming down those stubborn fat areas. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, the fat won’t grow back either,’ says the brand representative. In liposuction, fat is removed from different parts of the body through cosmetic surgery.
Other fat reduction surgeries
Liposuction: Liposuction is a procedure that helps get rid of fat by literally suctioning it out. For the past decade, it has been by far, the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure. It helps get rid of fat from stubborn areas where exercise or dieting fails to make an impact. While exercising and dieting can also do that but liposuction targets specific areas – trouble spots like thighs, abdomen, hips and knees for women and abdomen and sides for men.
Bariatric surgery: Typically, bariatric surgery is advised for those patients who are at least 25 to 30 kilos overweight with BMI 32.5 or above. It is for people who have honestly tried to lose weight and tried various gyms, diets, have gone and have lost weight which keeps coming back. Read more about weight loss through bariatric surgery.
Tummy tuck: Tummy tuck is done in the lower part of abdomen. The part of the abdomen that is in excess is tucked or removed and the skin is tightened so that you get a flat tummy. Usually, people opt for it after pregnancy or if they have a tummy due to heredity. At times, even when people lose a significant amount of weight, the skin over the abdomen hangs loosely and hence might need a tummy tuck. Read more about tummy tuck.
Slimming machines: These are non-invasive techniques for body shaping. These modalities focus on targeting specific physical properties of fat so it can be selectively removed. There are different machines which work on different principles. Read more on how slimming machines work.
