If a genie granted you three wishes, what will you ask for? Well, I would wish for a toned and sexy body without having to work out or follow a strict diet. I would also wish that all my favourite foods (most of which is junk food) burnt calories. Before we get carried away to this delusional perfect world, let’s figure out what we can do for a fit body.

Morning: You can’t pray for the magic to happen but you should start your day by praying. And we are not saying this for religious purposes. Research has suggested that praying makes you stress-free, happy and helps fight depression.

Breakfast: Whether you are suffering from diabetes or not, you must give our oats upma recipe a try. It is rich in dietary fibres, vitamins, and minerals.

Lunch: Lunchtime calls for some delicious parathas. Check out our methi paneer paratha recipe and you can thank us by sharing the recipe with your friends! These parathas can help reduce cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Home: Sitting in one place for a long time affects your posture and your spine. Perform this back bend exercise at home or in office by your desk to prevent any back pains and to make your back more flexible.

Yoga: The genie won’t grant you the first wish of getting a toned body but this yoga pose definitely will! Bhadrasana or the auspicious pose doesn’t only tone your hips, thighs and buttocks but it also helps relieve anxiety and calms your mind.

Sleep: Give afternoon naps a break. They are interfering with your night’s sleep. Make sure you pick an activity and keep yourself busy during daytime instead of taking a nap.
