Steven: Cara, can you please tell us about your background and what your goals were when you discovered Turbulence Training.
Cara: Well, I'm a female in my 30's and an office clerk who spends alot of hours in front of my computer. I knew the importance of being active and healthy but I still had alot to learn about training and nutrition. When I first discovered Turbulence Training I was looking to change my body shape and get rid of my stomach fat.
I had been weight training for about a year but had hit a plateau, I really needed a different routine to exercise, lose weight and kickstart my results again.
Steven: How were you doing before?
Cara: I wasn't as active as I wanted to be working full-time and taking night classes, I was also eating out alot. I gained 20 pounds and was at my heaviest weight ever, 160 pounds.
When the night classes were over I added an exercise to lose weight and lost the 20 pounds by running 5 days a week. When I discovered weight training I was 142 pounds and about 28% body fat. After 6 months I had only lost another 10 pounds and 7% body fat. When I started Turbulence Training I was 132 pounds and 21% body fat.
Steven: Why didn't your workout routines work as well as Turbulence Training?
Cara: Before Turbulence Training I was a "same-pace" cardio fanatic and ran 5 miles three times a week. I also strength trained using a 4 day body part split routine. This program was ok but after 6 months I stalled and the plateau set in. I knew I had to try a new exercise, lose weight program.
When I first started using the strength training and interval workouts in Turbulence Training I was skeptical that such a short workout 3 times a week would help me. The strength training and intervals kept the intensity levels higher every workout, so they are more efficient than my previous exercise, lose weight routine.
Steven: How has the training helped you improve your shape and what results have you achieved?
Cara: I can finally do pull ups, which I always wanted to do. I'm definitely stronger, leaner, faster, and finally have the athletic body that I've always wanted. Also, my clothes have gotten looser and smaller. I can actually see visible abs now which have always eluded me.
Steven: How is your energy and what features do you like about Turbulence Training?
Cara: The strength that I've gained has improved my biking and running, which is the most exciting. I can climb hills on my bike that I had to walk before, and I have knocked minutes off my 5k runs. Steven: Did you have to change your eating plan drastically to follow the guidelines?
Cara: I have always had a good eating plan, the biggest changes were adding a post-recovery shake and getting as much variety as possible.

Cara: When I'm in the gym I get quite a few compliments on my progress when they notice how hard and smart I'm working out, one woman even pointed me out to her friend and said "I want abs like that!"
