Bend your elbow and lower, as you lower lift the left side. Repeat twenty times on each side. Doing an oblique stretch can help tighten and tone your waist line.

4. Ballet Squat: Because ballet is a difficult sport, it can be a very beneficial exercise to do. Stretching can help tone and strengthen your muscles, and a simple ballet exercise you can do at home is a ballet squat. Open your legs to second position with your feet pointed outward. Keep your knees over your ankles and lower yourself slowly, hold the weights in front of you as well and straighten back up with your knees bent slightly. Repeat twenty-five times.

5. Tailbone Lift: The last stretch that is great for strengthening your lower abdominal muscles is the tailbone lift. To perform this stretch lay on your back with your hands interwoven behind your head. Lift your legs up and keep them as straight as you possibly can above your hips. Lift your tailbone off of the floor one inch and bring back down slowly; do this exercise twenty-five times.
