It can feel like an overwhelming task to lose weight eating healthy. When you are desperate to reach your normal weight it is really easy to fall for those diets promising super fast weight loss eating only eggs (or whatever else they prescribe).
Don't let yourself fall into that very trap! Risk is you end up on an everlasting road of yo-yo banting: losing weight quickly, only to gain it again just as quickly, followed by yet another attempt to lose it real fast. Somehow hopeless...
This is where the glycemic index comes in. Though not designed specifically to make you lose weight, it will most certainly make you do just that.
How come? Our bodies are not meant to be overweight, and when eating according to the glycemic index you eat as you're supposed to by nature.
Even if you obviously cannot overeat (no diet around can fix your weight if you persist to give your body way too much energy), there aren't any stricy rules on what to eat or not to eat, except this one: you must choose foods with a low glycemic value, and this alone will make you feel content, energetic and good about yourself in a way you are not used to.
While eating good, nutritious and healthy food you will lose weight, while your body converts into a strong fort that for the rest of your life will stand by you!
And don't despair, once in a while you can still have a piece of pie and the sweets you love.
Can this really be right, is it this easy? Yes it is, because it means adapting your food habits to the way we are meant to eat by our biological body.
The time span that has elapsed since we started eating this fast (meaning entering our blood streams fast, thus causing our blood sugar levels bouncing up and down) food has been way too short for our bodies to adapt.
