Aside from the obvious benefit of eating the right kind of food at the right amount, which is a healthy body, there are other advantages. Skin will be more radiant and youthful, and body will be sexier and more attractive. But what if you have the urge to eat all you want and still lose weight?
Well, there shouldn't be anything to stop you from doing so. One shouldn't get starved to death just to lose weight. In fact, anybody who would try to lose the calories too harshly will only gain weight eventually since his metabolism will slow down. Others who stay away from eating will only end up overeating because of the extreme hunger or craving for food.
Now, if you have your mind and body set to eat all you want and still lose weight, here are some notes on eating:
* Eat adequately not insufficiently
The most foolish notion of many people in diet is that they should eat littlest amounts of food. They deprive themselves entirely and that is not good. When the body detects the lack of nutrients getting in, it automatically adjusts the metabolism process to save on stock nutrients.
* Eat right, fill right.
So, you have your eye on the goal: eat all you want and still lose weight. This doesn't mean you'll eat everything ever so carelessly. If you'd like to lose weight but still maintain a healthy body, you could get yourself some pizza but you should stock yourself up on foods with high fiber and high water content first.
Eat the right filler foods. These are foods that make you feel full but lesser in calorie count. Examples include whole grain breads, vegetables and fruits, poultry, lean meats, yogurt. Eat them first so you'd be eating less of the burger, hotdog, or chips later on. Cut the intake of diet sodas too, and substitute with water instead.
* Chew and enjoy your food - why hurry?
When there is an adequate amount of sugar and nutrients processed from digestion, the body will signal the brain to tell you that you're fully loaded already. But digesting takes some time so, if you eat fast and you stuff yourself too quickly, the body can't keep up with giving you the right signal. Before you know it, you've eaten too much too soon and you're bloated.
* Stand up and move - walking could be good
Walking could be anybody's daily exercise. It's not that strenuous and it could be quite enjoyable too. Making extra walks everyday will help you burn the calories you'd like to let go off, without beating yourself up with the more strenuous forms of exercises in the gym.
* Stock more of these and less of those.
The lesser junk foods you see in the fridge or cupboard, the lesser the temptations to eat them. So, stock more on the right food and stock less on all others.
* Relax and get the much needed sleeping hours
We burn calories too when we sleep. If we don't get much sleep, the metabolism slows down and you know what that means. Getting enough sleep at night helps in losing weight.
It could be easy for you to eat all you want and still lose weight as long as you keep these things in mind.
