I always used to be thin. I was a 119 pound petite blonde who could easily fit into a size 4 or 6. In college I was unable to give blood - I always prided myself on the fact that I didn't weight enough to give!
The days of wearing the size 6 clothing have long since passed. I am still short, but overweight - by a good 30 or 40 pounds.
I have continually looked for ways to lose weight really fast. I struggle with this every single day of my life. I want to lose weight quickly how do I do it? I do not have time to work out for an hour or hour and a half a day 4 - 5 days a week. I wish I did - but I don't. I spend my time working and taking care of my household. When my kids are in school I'm working and when they are out of school, I'm taking care of them. So when do I go to the gym? I go in the 40 minute time frame I have between dropping my kids off at school and starting work at 9am. Not much time is it? That includes driving time.
I cannot nor would I want to engage in fasting, diet pills, or any unhealthy weight loss mechanism. I actually have to eat every few hours to keep my blood sugars balanced - so burning off more than I take in is often times a challenge as well. So how can I lose weight fast? I need to find a way to take the weight off and keep it off.
I really have a hard time focusing on extreme calorie reduction. I don't sit around eating cookies and ice cream all day, but I do enjoy eating. Extreme calorie reduction tactics are not only difficult for me mentally and emotionally, but they also physically slow down my metabolism. So this is not a good long-term approach. It seems as though my focus should really be on burning more calories than I'm taking in.
So, all this sounds pretty good in theory, but how do I really accomplish it all? How do I turn my quest to lose weight really fast into something tangible that I can do every day?
