To achieve pure weight loss you need to lose the fat in your body. The objective in doing this is to keep the muscle and burn the fat. Below I will lay out how you can keep that lean muscle tissue all while burning fat in a healthy and controlled manner.
I want to start off by saying that it is going to take a little work on your part to see the results you want. If your under the impression that a magic pill is going to bring you the results you desire, your wrong. There are certain pills and supplements on the market that do work but only in conjunction with a specific diet and plan geared at pure weight loss.
You know, there is a magic secret to burning fat, it's called exercise and a healthy diet. I understand that this isn't exactly what you had in mind. For the most part, people would rather pull their hair out than exercise or diet. C'mon, it is a lot easier than you may have realized before.
I am not telling you to exercise for an hour on the elliptical machine. On the contrary, your body will begin to burn it's fat stores after 16 minutes, give or take a minute or two. That's why it's not a good idea to crash diet, your body will lose muscle and dampen it's ability to get rid of what you really want to see go, fat.
One last thing, if you notice that your weight is not dropping as fast as you would like, don't get discouraged. What you may not know is that this is entirely normal. When you take on a pure weight loss program you will be burning the fat and be replacing it with muscle in the beginning. Don't panic, even with no loss in weight, your clothes will begin to fit better. Really.
In closing, try to perform other workouts besides ones that are just aerobic. Granted these are great, what you also want to do is encompass a little weight training as well. This can kick start your metabolism if it gets stuck in a rut. Remember, muscle burns fat so muscle is good.
