Craig lead a research study examining the effects of protein and resistance training on young men. Many subjects decreased their body fat percentage while increasing muscle mass. The study was held at Pudue University and published in 2007. The researchers assigned the subjects to 3 time a week workout sessions of only resistance training. The subjects were able to gain 4 pounds of muscle and lose 4 pounds of fat in only 12 weeks.
You do not need to do hours of cardio to lose weight as many fitness magazines would lead you to think. This is the reason why so many people struggle to lose weight, they put in a lot of effort but see little to no results. They are doing the wrong types of workouts that will just waste their time. The fastest way to fat loss is through short-burst strength training sessions. Turbulence Training only requires you to do three 45 minute workouts a week, yet you will see twice the results as regular cardio sessions.
