HCG Weight Loss Clinics Are Obsolete

When the HCG weight loss clinics hit the weight loss scene in the late 1950s, there was a major barrier to widespread acceptance. Even though the naturally occurring hormone was shown to produce losses of one to two pounds of fat stores per day when used with a very low calorie diet, many people simply couldn’t afford to patronize the expensive HCG weight loss clinics that administered HCG injections.

Now the era of HCG injections has passed and homeopathic oral supplements have become the preferred method of administering the Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) component of the HCG diet program. This does more than take the sting out of the diet program; it makes the method affordable for the average consumer.

There are still people who dispute the effectiveness of the homeopathic method, but rather than trying to ignore them, it is worth a look at health statistics related to homeopathic extraction. While homeopathy may be a dirty word in America, it is widely used by European doctors. No one disputes the geography of homeopathic use for medical conditions; it is extremely popular in France and the Netherlands with usage rates around 40%, and very widely used in Germany and the United Kingdom.

According to the CIA World Factbook, in 2009 life expectancies for each of these four countries not only exceeded the United States, but even exceeded the average life expectancy of the European Union.

The evidence becomes even more compelling when one considers that according the World Health Organization Statistical Information System database the risk factors for all four countries with the highest prevalence of homeopathic usage are far greater than the United States. In France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom, consumption of alcohol was between 11 and 28% greater in adults than in the United States and tobacco use was between 7 and 12% more prevalent according to the most recent statistics.

Drug companies and insurance companies in America with still insist that homeopathic remedies are bunk and that they have the proper treatment for obesity all figured out. The greatest critic of the homeopathic method, the pharmaceutical industry, advocates medicine such as Bontril and Desoxyn for weight loss; both are FDA approved narcotic stimulants with severe side effects and high potential for addiction.

While the drug companies are deriding the effectiveness of homeopathic treatments, you have to clearly understand that they are actually making the argument that speed is a preferable option.
