Are you just buying too much of everything or are you buying too much of certain items like bread and cake, for example. Do you buy lots of ready meals? How much of your shopping cart is made up of processed food?
Before you next go to the supermarket, sit down and see if you can't make out one weeks worth of meal plans. Try and cut out all ready meals. Look and see how much bread you're buying. How many of the things in your shopping cart have a high sugar content? If you can start to become aware of what you are eating then this will help you to reduce the foods that make you overweight. Eating lots of sugary food will increase your appetite and make you want to eat more. You should try and avoid sugary foods at all costs.
Shopping is where it all begins. Think about what you buy and why you are buying it and you will be taking the first step towards solving your overeating problem.
