You shouldn't be under any pressure because you have all the time. You simply have to increase your cycling speed as you gain confidence over some period of time. Don't even think of covering several miles in your first few days. The cycling habit would naturally get into your system and the way you ride the bike will improve with consistent practice. This would enable you to cycle for miles daily after some time.

 

Some of the busy folks are advised to make use of trainer bikes at the gym or even at home if time wouldn't permit them to use the real bike. But if there is any chance for the fellow, it is better that he or she make use of the real bike because it is normally more effective and soul-soothing.
