Carol showed up on the doorstep of our gym with a strained muscle from doing too much cardio. Some days we trained in Carol抯 house, and on other days we trained at the studio, just for a change of pace. Once she healed from her injury, Carol and I laughed at her old-school trainer抯 excessive cardio recommendations. Like you, she knew that cardio wasn抰 working for her, but kept going because of bad advice.
