Another very popular diet which has a bad side although it is effective when it comes to weight loss is the Atkins diet. The problem about this diet is that you should pay attention to what amount of cholesterol you are consuming as high amount of cholesterol for long time is not a good thing for your heart and vascular system. Also when taking this diet you should make sure you that you eat good amounts of fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables have good weight loss effect too in addition to the healthy effect.
One food diets are sometimes used in the wrong way leading to bad effect on the body. If you are going to eat one type of food you have to choose one that contain all the nutrients especially proteins, fats and carbs.
