Let's face it, we have become a nation of where dieting to lose weight has become part of our daily routine. We go on a diet for one or two weeks and then we go back to our old eating lifestyle. But for those of us who have stick to a dieting program, I can say that getting rid of stomach fat was the hardest part of the journey.
Well, at least it has been for me. I am sure that you will encounter some of the hurdles that I have to overcome. The key factors in getting rid of stomach fat are to change the type of food that you eat, change the amount of food that you eat and develop an exercise routine.
Change the Type of Food Consume
First, you have to change the kind of food that you consume. Like many people, I enjoy eating all the kinds of food that is considered bad for you and your health. Some of these foods are deep fried food, fast food and baked food. In addition, I love to drink soda which is deemed not the best choice of beverage.
If you want to get rid of stomach fat, you must make a conscious effort to avoid these types of food and start making more healthy choices. You must change the type of food you consume.
Change the Amount of Food Eating
Second, you need to change the amount of food that you eat. Like most American, I love to super size my meals. I don't have to be eating at a fast food restaurant to have my plate full to the max. To get rid of stomach fat, you will have to reduce the amount of food that you eat daily.
Consume smaller portions of food. Eating less food will lead to less calories that you will consume. Changing the amount of food that you eat will definite help you to get rid of stomach fat.
Develop an Exercise Routine
Third, you have to develop an exercise routine. I know you probably have not exercise for quite some time and the thought of doing any kind of exercise makes you sick. I felt the exact same way when I decide to get rid of stomach fat. Exercise was not part of my daily or weekly routine. But to see any kind of significant results, you have to develop an exercise routine.
Your exercise routine should be at least three to four times a week for about 30 minutes to an hour a day. At the beginning of your exercise routine, you will be vey uncomfortable as your body will not be used to it. Stick with it. It will get easy as the weeks past and you begin to get rid of stomach fat.
My journey to get rid of stomach fat was difficult but along the way I have learned what it takes to be successful. You can be to as I was if you follow what I have learned. To be successful, you will have to change the type of food that you consume the amount of food that you eat and develop an exercise routine.
If you make the simple changes you will increase your chances to get rid of stomach fat.
