"What is the best way to lose stomach fat".
I get asked this question so many times that I have decided to write a post sharing the secret to how I reached my goal weight in record breaking time.
I know if you're reading this, then my title shocked you and you just have to know what on earth I'm talking about. You are probably like a lot of other serial dieters out there, and you might even have convinced yourself that you will just have to live with the weight since you have tried everything and nothing worked.
Well, I'm here to let you know that not all hope is lost. There is a chance for you. And you will be glad to know that it involves no particular kind of diet or exercise. Honest.
I'm not here selling you anything. I just want to let you in on a SECRET that changed my life and might possibly change yours too.
When you come to think of it, it isn't much of a secret at all. The real reason why all your dieting and exercise has not worked for you, (and sometimes worked against you) is that you went into it fully focused- on the WRONG thing.
Let me explain. Before starting on any diet what are you thinking? Most people are thinking, "I really need to lose some weight", or "I'm getting too fat, time to lose weight", or something else along those lines. Am I right?
That is your first mistake!
Your mind is subconsciously programmed to look for anything that you 'lost' and so while you are consciously trying to lose weight, your efforts are being sabotaged by, well, you.
Instead of thinking of yourself 'losing' weight, rather think of yourself as 'releasing' the extra pounds and be easy about it. It's not what you do that matters, it's how you do it.
There is no amount of dieting or exercise that will help you to lose weight if your subconscious mind is not on the same page as you, (your conscious, decision making mind). What I mean is, your conscious, thinking mind must be on the same frequency as your subconscious mind for any action that you take to have ANY effect.
If this is a totally new concept to you, then I would understand if you were a little bit skeptical. But for those of you who understand the workings of the subconscious mind, then you know that you get what ever you focus on.
Your mind is equipped to take you towards anything that you want, and that includes a slim and slender you, as long as you program into your mind exactly what it is that you want. It will show you the quickest and easiest way to get to your goals. Always.
This brings us to the second reason why diets and exercise don't work.
I tried everything before I found something that worked for me.
Like I said, the subconscious mind attracts to you whatever it is that you focus on, especially when you focus with emotion. Now, that is the good news, and it's also the bad news.
Why? It's Good news because that means that if you focus on being slim, then a way will be made for it to happen, but most people are NOT focused on being thin. They are focused on 'LOSING WEIGHT', and they say things to themselves like, "I'm too FAT!', and "Why do I EAT so much?" and "I have no power over FOOD".
Do you see my point? If you are thinking all day every day about fat, eat, food and other such words then that's what you are focused on and that is what you will get more of.
Also remember that whatever you believe becomes true for you.
A statement like, "I can't stop myself from overeating" becomes true for you and you find the evidence of your lack of self control all around you. At the same time, a statement like "I can eat whatever I want and not gain weight" if repeated to oneself enough times will result in the subconscious mind making it true and you will soon see the evidence of it.
You could easily be a thin person that eats ice cream and donuts or you could stay a fat person that doesn't eat ice cream and donuts. The difference between these two comes down to how you have trained yourself to think.
Focus only on what you want. Say, "I'm getting a handle on this", and "I am making better choices when it comes to what I eat", and "It has never been an issue of willpower. It's just a matter of me keeping my focus on whatever it is that I want, and what I don't want will fall away."
So, basically all I'm trying to say is that whenever you want to release excess weight, you will not succeed (not easily anyway) by starving yourself through willpower and exercise only, but through inspired action by working on becoming the kind of person who maintains your ideal weight.
This will inspire you to action that will help you to achieve all of your goals pertaining to what you perceive to be the ideal weight for you. The inspired action might include exercise that will be fun for you and leave you feeling so vital and full of life, or you might be inspired to start eating a certain way and finding new healthy recipes that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.
The possibilities are endless if you just trust the power of your subconscious mind. Or you could carry on doing it the way you have been, it's all up to you. I just think that the effortless way is the best. I'm not saying that effort won't be required on your part, it most definitely will.
But when you do act, the action will feel good and fun and inspired and exciting and you will be bursting with health and vitality even before you start to see the physical results. And that's when you will know that you are on the right track and you cannot go wrong, and anything that you are inspired to do will bring you the results that you desire!
So go ahead and give it a try. Change your mind and you will change your life! That's a promise.
