Juicing Recipes For Weight Loss

Juicing is a great way to lose weight.  You supercharge your body with nutrients and reduce the number of empty calories that you intake.  Additionally, all the foods that you are eating are raw.  They have the most amount of nutrients available.  Remember when you cook something, it loses some of the nutrients.  So, even if you are dieting and trying to lose weight, if you are eating cooked vegetables, you won't be getting the amount of nutrition that you would get if you ate vegetables that were raw.  The other benefit to juicing is that your nutrients are quickly absorbed because the body does not need to break down the fiber to get the nutrients. 

There are some great juicing recipes for weight loss.  Many people do not realize that an important part of losing weight is detoxification.  They should include a few key vegetables and fruits in their juices for detoxification. 

My favorite juicing recipes for weight loss include a green drink and a carrot drink.

To make the Green drink:

1 cucumber

1cup spinach

1 small lemon (don't juice the rind - it tastes too bitter)

1 large apple (Apples are great for detox)

3 sticks of celery

parsley

The greens are chock full of nutrients.  However, the lemons and the apple are great for detoxification.  Your body will start to eliminate some of the unnecessary stored waste.  That will result in a nice weight loss.

Carrot Juice

5 organic carrots

3 sticks of celery

1 small apple

1 small piece of ginger

Carrots contain a large amount of vitamin A, which is great for hair and nails.  The ginger and the apple balance each other out and they provide your body with cleansing nutrients.  This is a sweet juice and should not be the only juice that you consume for weight loss.   Juicing for weight loss should involve a variety of fruits and vegetables.  This will help you get a balanced diet as you are replacing meals with juice. 

Many people assume that they can not complete a juice fast.  I was one of those people.  I am on day six of my own juice fast.  I only miss chewing around meal times.  I do get hungry around meal times, but surprisingly, I feel satiated after a few large glasses of juice.  Juicing for weight loss is an effective method to trim down and get into quite possibly the best health of your life.  You will be boosting your body's natural functions by providing it with the nutrients that it needs.  Make sure that you get a good juicing machine that is easy to use.  It will make your juice fast that much simpler.
